Dance is for everyone! Our summer workshops are designed to introduce new students to dance classes and to provide enhanced training for seasoned dancers. Enjoy exceptional instruction by professional teachers in a motivational environment. All our programs are taught using age-appropriate movement and music in a controlled class size to ensure positive experiences and personal attention. We invite you to discover the rewards of dance training in one of our summer classes designed just for you.

butterflyBALLET
TINY TOTS TAKE FLIGHT! Let your little one discover the magic of movement with creative play, music, and a playful routine on stage. Dancers leave with confidence, friends, and a precious set of butterfly wings. Four engaging 45 minute lessons.

A SPOTLIGHT SUPREME! Join Spotlight alumni for a taste of different dance styles like hip hop, lyrical, jazz, and acro. Perfect for new students or anyone who loves to move! Drop-in or register for the month.

NINJANIGHT
EVERYTHING IS AWESOME! Ninja Night is 45 minutes of fun acrobatics combined with obstacle courses and parkour training. Students develop strength and agility while practicing skillful spins, rolls, jumps and kicks on the ground.

DOES YOUR TODDLER FLIP ON THE SOFA? We have the perfect place for them to learn and explore. Camp Spotlight is a fun and active program designed for toddlers to learn through creative play and develop self-love along the way.
•Each 2 hour class offers a fun-filled lesson sparking imagination and creativity. Students enjoy a variety of activities including: music and dance, arts and crafts, theatre and play.
•Theme based curriculum to expand cognitive abilities and develop creative thinking.

GET YOUR SPARKLE ON! One of Spotlight’s most popular summer camps for preschoolers. From sea to shining sea, it’s stars and stripes forever! Creative movement, music narratives, rhythm builders, and obstacle course fun!
•Learn a simple, follow-along routine to perform onstage at the Creston Fourth of July Talent Show at 6:30p on the McKinley Park Band Shell.
•Camp meets four days: June 24&26 + July 1&3; 5-5:45p at our Creston studio.

CARTWHEEL CARNIVAL! Learn new skills, set goals, and perform two personalized tumble passes that showcase your individual talent at Southwest Tumble Fest!
•Southwest Tumble Fest is a local, public demonstration with outdoor family fun (bounce house, food trucks, face painting, more), scheduled for Saturday, August 3 on Maple Street in Uptown Creston.

•This 3 hour workshop concludes with an audition for Project Portfolio, a select dance company that performs at community festivals and local events.
