Leslie

Leslie Brumfield was introduced to dance lessons as a little girl when her entire family enrolled in line-dance classes, and she loved watching her grandparents square dance. In high school, Leslie was active in cheerleading and learned to stunt. This paved the way for her to become a dance teacher at Spotlight; first assisting acro classes and spotting tumblers, and now choreographing routines and assisting backstage at recitals. Leslie is inspired by the genuine enthusiasm that children exude when they wholeheartedly pursue something meaningful to them. She appreciates witnessing her acro students challenge themselves, persistently striving to master new skills or compulsories. Leslie enjoys upcycling used furniture, cross-stitching, and listening to historical podcasts.
